I received the slings much faster than I expected. They were what I ordered with the sizes I ordered which I was nervous of getting them wrong… The color FS050 Santiago Stripes is just wonderful and they fitted just right!! … and my patio looks very nice! worth every penny! I had couple of questions via email and they were responded to very quickly. customer service was very good. Thank you!

My opinion is simple and stated above – Buyer Beware ! I’ve re-done three patio lounges over the past few years and had the need to do another one. I decided to try these folks even though they were about 15% higher than most of the on-line sling advertisers – thought they must be good although pricey. MY mistake !! I ordered the sling based on their on-line instructions and paid for the order. The delivery was to be made in 2 to 3 weeks, and AFTER THE FORTH WEEK, I called A/Slings and was told that they “would start on it right away”, and after another 10 days, the order was finally delivered. I removed my old sling only to find that the replacement slings width was short – I’d ordered a 20 7/8 inch width, and the finished product was ONLY 20 INCHES WIDE, and there was no way to stretch it to fit. I contacted A/Slings by phone and after a “third degree inquisition” was told to send pictures using a steel tape measure to show the width, and include a letter of explanation, which I did, and after a few days, I got the replacement sling for the one they originally send me. And here’s one of the best parts; It was not only the WRONG COLOR based on my original order, but was NOW 19 inches in width, which was even an inch shorter than the one they sent originally, which was shorter by 7/8 of an inch! (My guess here is that they send me a sling that had been returned by another customer, which was “close” to the color I’d ordered, and “close” to the 20 7/8 inch width that I needed and was clearly stated on the original invoice. Wow, huh?) It gets even better; naturally I called the company and was asked to send yet another explanation with the details on the issue, include some additional pictures which I did. ALSO, they wanted me to return the first two slings, a copy of my original invoice, along with the first two incorrect orders, plus my old sling which they wanted to use as a template. You’d think they’d refer to the measurements and color request on the order invoice, but they insisted that we handle it this way. It’s only been a few days now since the mailing, but there’s been no word from them. The postage was an additional $23, btw! So, it’s been over two months now and Lord knows if they will ever get this simple order right. Had I gone to one of the many other sling makers on line, I’d probably have the sling that I ordered by now, and be $50 richer. That’s about the end of my story, but – – – These folks are FAR from customer friendly, and one of the phone conversations could describe them as being downright nasty. I always acted in a gentlemanly manner but was treated as predator at times -one who was trying hard to get into their shorts. Sorry, but those are the true facts! Buyer Beware on this one.

On the second paragraph you said “AFTER THE FORTH WEEK, I called A/Slings and was told that they ‘would start on it right away’, and after another 10 days, the order was finally delivered.” However, you ordered your slings on September 5, it was shipped on the 17th and delivered on September 19 – exactly two weeks after you placed your order. The fabric color you received is the one you ordered FS-011 Stripe Conch. We have nothing “close” to the color you’d ordered. As we also said in one of the emails we sent you, all the pictures you were sending was measuring the stiching but you’re supposed to measure to the end of the sling – side to side (not the stiching) – what is 19-7/8” when you measure it correctly. In the end, we requested you to send them back to us not because we are avoiding any replacements, but because we are trying to understand the issue you are saying which we are not seeing. We would like the opportunity to investigate your matter further. We are looking into this issue and hope to resolve it promptly and accurately. We will be happy to get things right. My old chairs were ripping, but the frames were just like new. American Slings made new seats and backs. Their service was great. They emailed me asking for a few pictures, just to make sure they were making them right. I completed the entire project in just an hour or so. Very easy and now they look like new. Really happy!

I purchased six replacement slings for my chairs. The original slings were fine but wanted to update with new colors. After measuring for the replacement slings, I ordered them. They arrived in about 3 weeks and I installed them. They are perfect, professionally made and add a lot to our outdoor area. Would highly recommend American Slings.
